Kennedy looses battle of Brain Cancer
Senator Kennedy leaves behind a political legacy as being one of the longest serving senators in history.
After losing his brothers President John Kennedy and Attorney General Robert Kennedy, both assassinated, Kennedy became the one who the family turned to when in need of support.
He also carried the burden of his tragic accident in 1969 when his car plunged off a bridge on Chappaquiddick killing Mary Jo Kopechne.
When his brother Robert ‘Bobby’ was assassinated Kennedy endured the responsibility of the family as he delivered Bobby’s eulogy.
